PROGRAMMING FOR KIDS
Preventative heath can have many different avenues but one close to my ❤️ is empowering our youth.
The more we share and model healthy lifestyle in a way thats fun and exciting, the more empowered they are to invest in their own wellness.
I've had the great privilege of sharing & presenting:
hands-on healthy food projects
edible art projects
recipe demonstrations
wellness programming for youth sports teams
after school mindfulness club
kids yoga
family wellness
To many classrooms, groups and families.
Being in a room with inquisitive children is invigorating & exciting and seeing life through their eyes is a joy.
My goal is to inspire kids to talk about and touch more food. To get a variety of healthy, colorful food in their hands, so they can use their senses to explore. We touch and taste and crunch and smell in a pier setting. Compared to sitting at their home kitchen table, the kids are usually more open to trying something new if they are in the company of their peers. Then they go home with their worksheet (see photo gallery) and talk about their experience with their adult, which is a great opportunity for them to be the teacher and share what they enjoyed.
Our children become our teachers. They inspire us to be more inquisitive & curious.
They inspire us to be more courageous and bold. To get out of our comfort zones and try something new. When they're empowered, they encourage us to eat the colors of the rainbow & invest in our wellness.
I’d love to share with your school, group, team or family.

Testimonials
"Please see the video of Louise who now eats orange peppers like an apple. She is obsessed after the pumpkin lesson!" Rachael
"I ate blueberries and I ate peppers. We learned eating those things is good for your body” Ashby
"We had the awesome opportunity to have Stephanie visit our kids school. As a family that embraces a variety of foods, there are certain items our children usually avoid. It was truly fantastic to witness our daughter come home and share her excitement about trying purple Cabbage for the first time, describing its flavor profile to us. As well as her new found love of blackberries. Stephanie not only possesses extensive knowledge but also exudes patience, kindness, and attentiveness.
I am immensely grateful for the chance our kids had to learn about and taste "new" foods alongside their friends through Stephanie's lesson. Participating in this activity with peers seemed to make them more willing to try and genuinely engage with the experience. Stephanie's positive influence has undoubtedly contributed to our children's openness to exploring different foods and creating a positive attitude towards culinary adventures. Hats off to Stephanie for her outstanding approach and the school for providing such an enriching learning experience!" The Stahl Family
"The teachers love you so much that they want you to come back once a week.” Renee
“The kids love the demonstrations because they are participating and eating the end product while learning the whole time." Ms. Eda
